So what is my blog about?
Eh,... mostly me kvetching about things.
I really don't have any concrete plan for my blog; no mission statement, no particular theme or bent, just whatever drivel I feel like writing.
When it comes to writing, I am prone to being quite wordy; somewhat as if I were giving a speech. Impromptu and informal just like a stump speech; hence the "Stumping" part of "Shabby's Stumping". As for the "Shabby" part,... that pretty much describes the state of affairs of myself, my possessions, and my situation. So, given my propensity for wordy kvetching in writing, "Shabby's Stumping" seemed to be a fitting name for my blog and a fitting pen name for me.
Blogger's "Labels" are a way to lump various blog posts into groups. The list of labels can give very cursory impression of what a blog is about. So, I thought I would describe the labels I use to help describe my blog.
Job Farce
My rants and musings about the absurdities of unemployment and
underemployment.
Miscellaneous
A label for the posts that don't solidly fit into any other group at the
moment.
Musings
Stuff rattling around in my head that may be a little
bit of a rant, a little bit of pondering, a little bit of confusion,... Whatever
it is, its stuff I'm mulling over.
Rants
Writing is my release and in these posts I spout-off. I may be entirely wrong
about everything or I might be a little bit right about a few things. One thing
is for sure - I'm venting some frustrations.
Wet Shaving
The old-school way of shaving with single-blade razors, scented shaving soaps,
making lather with a shaving brush along with a few odd bits and things
learned and used in the process.
